Description

  • Develop a deep understanding of major SaaS and AI platforms to surface critical security insights.
  • Prototype solutions that integrate data across SaaS and AI platforms to identify high-risk combinations and blast-radius compromises.
  • Identify and respond to new attacker techniques against SaaS and AI platforms.
  • Build novel detection and mitigation approaches for future attacks.
  • Use AI to accelerate research into SaaS and AI platform security.
  • Contribute high-impact product features that strengthen Obsidian’s defensive strategy.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in the cybersecurity industry with a research or data focus.
  • Experience with data pipelines such as dbt, Dagster, and ClickHouse.
  • Proficiency in Python, Go, and SQL.
  • Experience with log processing and anomaly detection.
  • Experience using AI agents to help build prototype solutions.
  • Ability to analyze logs and signals from IdPs, cloud platforms, or SaaS applications.
  • Experience with core SaaS platforms such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Office 365, Salesforce, or Workday in a security context is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of identity systems such as Okta, Azure AD/Entra, and Google Workspace, plus authentication flows, is preferred.
