Description

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, including Harness, to support release quality.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, architects, and program managers to improve test coverage and defect detection.
  • Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and execution reports to support compliance and audit needs.
  • Set up and maintain testing environments and test data management in line with federal standards and security policies.
  • Support performance and security testing efforts through automation and tool integration.
  • Analyze test results, report defects, and track quality metrics to identify trends in software quality.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements in test automation frameworks and testing best practices.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on test automation engineering.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar programming languages used for test automation.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Katalon, JMeter, Axe by Deque, and Postman.
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Harness, GitHub Actions, or equivalent tools.
  • Understanding of software development life cycles, Agile methodologies, and shift-left testing practices.
  • Experience working in federal compliance environments such as FedRAMP, FISMA, or NIST standards is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with close attention to detail and quality.
  • U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or higher security clearance.
  • ISTQB Foundation or Advanced Level certification is preferred.
  • Experience with Google Cloud is preferred.
  • Knowledge of accessibility testing and Section 508 compliance is preferred.
  • Previous federal contracting or government program experience is preferred.
  • Existing active Public Trust or higher clearance is preferred.
