Description

Develop and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, including Harness, to support release quality.
Collaborate with software engineers, architects, and program managers to improve test coverage and defect detection.
Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and execution reports to support compliance and audit needs.
Set up and maintain testing environments and test data management in line with federal standards and security policies.
Support performance and security testing efforts through automation and tool integration.
Analyze test results, report defects, and track quality metrics to identify trends in software quality.
Contribute to ongoing improvements in test automation frameworks and testing best practices.

Requirements

7+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on test automation engineering.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar programming languages used for test automation.
Experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Katalon, JMeter, Axe by Deque, and Postman.
Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Harness, GitHub Actions, or equivalent tools.
Understanding of software development life cycles, Agile methodologies, and shift-left testing practices.
Experience working in federal compliance environments such as FedRAMP, FISMA, or NIST standards is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with close attention to detail and quality.
U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or higher security clearance.
ISTQB Foundation or Advanced Level certification is preferred.
Experience with Google Cloud is preferred.
Knowledge of accessibility testing and Section 508 compliance is preferred.
Previous federal contracting or government program experience is preferred.
Existing active Public Trust or higher clearance is preferred.
