Description

  • Architect, design, and independently deliver high-quality software following industry best practices.
  • Design, develop, integrate, maintain, and support data pipelines and applications.
  • Build scalable, high-availability, and high-performance enterprise applications across front-end and back-end architectures.
  • Diagnose and resolve production issues while communicating risks and barriers to development leads.
  • Make informed design decisions and evaluate tradeoffs.
  • Use proof-of-concepts, testing, and research to validate technical solutions.
  • Propose, develop, and support customer-facing applications that meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Collaborate in distributed Agile/Scrum and DevSecOps delivery teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of software development experience building commercial applications, or equivalent skills.
  • Experience administering RDS Postgres and Aurora databases, plus knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server administration.
  • Experience with Databricks, including Unity Catalog, notebooks, and pipeline creation.
  • Experience designing and architecting technical solutions and learning new technologies and programming languages quickly.
  • Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, serverless, event-driven architecture, SOA, microservices, microfrontends, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code.
  • Proficiency across the software development lifecycle, including coding standards, design patterns, code reviews, source control, builds, testing, and operations.
  • Experience contributing to distributed teams using Agile/Scrum and DevSecOps practices.
