Description

  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and milestones aligned to project goals.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to support timely delivery.
  • Lead software development teams using Agile and Scrum practices.
  • Define and implement PMO standards for programs.
  • Manage project delivery and budgets against contractual requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for executive and senior-level clients.
  • Facilitate regular project status meetings and provide clear updates to clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Provide technical guidance and maintain project documentation, including plans, status reports, and risk assessments.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of project management experience focused on software engineering projects.
  • Strong understanding of software development processes, methodologies, engineering principles, and cloud technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients and team members at all levels.
  • Certified Scrum Master and/or Project Management Professional (PMP).
  • Must be a US citizen eligible to obtain and maintain an active Secret security clearance or above.
  • Must be based in CA or the DC Metro Area.
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience delivering projects for US Federal Government clients (preferred).
  • Prior experience as a software engineer or developer (preferred).
  • Experience in functional analysis, user experience, and/or user interface design (preferred).
  • Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or Google Cloud Digital Leader certification (preferred).

Benefits

  • Remote-first work arrangement with candidates based in CA or the DC Metro Area.
  • Salary range of $127,200 to $172,000.
  • Opportunity to work on meaningful client-impacting software projects.
  • Potential to work on programs involving cloud engineering, data engineering, and AI/ML.
