Description

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including intake meetings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and hiring coordination.
  • Source and attract qualified candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, social media, and other sourcing methods.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers, technical experts, and other stakeholders throughout the selection process.
  • Advise on candidate evaluation and provide hiring recommendations.
  • Collaborate with the Culture and Talent team to support a strong candidate and employee experience.
  • Contribute to the development and rollout of the employer brand with the marketing team.
  • Monitor talent acquisition best practices and help improve recruitment processes and tools.
  • Perform other related recruitment and talent acquisition tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience recruiting and building a founding technical team at a startup.
  • Knowledge of IT and software development.
  • Strong sourcing skills, including social media recruiting and other effective sourcing techniques.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to persuade and close candidates.
  • Experience using an ATS system; Workable is used by the company.
  • Familiarity with common job boards such as LinkedIn and Indeed.
  • Basic HR knowledge is considered an asset.
  • Experience with the DFO tool is considered an asset.
  • Passion for people and assessing cultural fit.
