Description

  • Own sourcing, outreach, screening, interviews, and closing for technical roles across engineering and research teams.
  • Build and maintain diverse, high-quality candidate pipelines across multiple functions.
  • Drive an exceptional candidate experience from first contact through offer acceptance.
  • Leverage crypto-specific sourcing channels, including on-chain reputation tools, GitHub activity, DAO contributions, social communities, open source communities, hackathons, and L2 ecosystems.
  • Partner with engineering leadership and hiring managers to understand hiring needs and role requirements.
  • Advise hiring teams on interview best practices and data-driven hiring decisions.
  • Maintain structured hiring pipelines, interview scorecards, and ATS hygiene.
  • Implement structured evaluation frameworks aligned with company hiring standards.
  • Proactively improve hiring processes, outreach copy, interview structure, and employer branding for technical roles.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience recruiting for technical roles, ideally in crypto, protocol development, or deep-tech environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to hire senior engineers, quant researchers, or other highly specialized candidates.
  • Understanding of core crypto concepts, especially DeFi.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical products and value propositions to candidates.
  • Ability to operate autonomously, prioritize effectively, and build relationships with a range of stakeholders.
  • Established presence or network within crypto communities such as Twitter, GitHub, research DAOs, or Discord engineering groups (preferred).
  • Experience hiring in high-growth or remote-first environments (preferred).
  • Understanding of TradFi and web2 hiring needs that translate to Web3, such as economic modeling, incentive optimization, quantitative funds, or protocol research workflows (preferred).
  • Global talent acquisition experience across engineering and research domains in multiple time zones (preferred).
  • Ability to work within the contiguous United States and Canada.
