Description

  • Develop and maintain server-side applications and services (PHP/Laravel, Node.js, Golang) and associated MySQL databases.
  • Design, build, and optimize RESTful APIs for performance, scalability, and security.
  • Implement front-end features and UIs using React (React 18) and related tooling.
  • Work with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and perform code reviews to maintain code quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, QA, design) and mentor junior engineers.
  • Manage integrations between internal systems and cloud services (AWS) and maintain deployment workflows.
  • Maintain and improve documentation, database schemas, and engineering processes.
  • Drive improvements to the codebase and engineering workflows to increase team autonomy and productivity.

Requirements

  • 5+ years as a Software Developer with a proven project track record.
  • Strong knowledge and production experience with PHP 8 and Laravel (9+/10).
  • Experience with React.js (React 18) and front-end development (HTML/CSS/JS).
  • Strong knowledge of Golang and familiarity with a Go framework (e.g., Gin).
  • Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs, using Git, and writing automated tests (PHPUnit or similar).
  • Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS or similar).
  • Solid database design and optimization skills; familiarity with NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tooling and workflows (e.g., GitHub Actions) and Infrastructure-as-Code (CloudFormation-style templates).
  • Good understanding of web application security, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and fluency in English (written & spoken).
  • Strong ownership mentality, bias toward shipping and learning, ability to work independently, document work, and improve processes.
