Description

  • Develop and maintain web applications using the BigCommerce platform.
  • Integrate third-party services and build custom applications as needed.
  • Analyze client requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with design teams to improve user interface and user experience.
  • Implement robust, scalable, and secure code for e-commerce applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to industry standards.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
  • Stay current with the latest BigCommerce features and industry trends.
  • Participate in sprint planning and agile development processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on BigCommerce.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with server-side programming in PHP or Node.js.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce best practices and trends.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills for working with clients and team members.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools such as JIRA.
