Description

  • Develop and manage territory and account plans to expand existing accounts and win new logos against sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate forecasts in Salesforce and use the MEDDPIC framework in sales meetings.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify sales plays, deliver product demonstrations, and support pipeline generation at industry events.
  • Engage senior government executives to advance and close sales opportunities.
  • Build a network of FSIs and VARs to support growth in the Federal market.
  • Work across internal teams such as Marketing, Sales Operations, and Finance to move deals through the sales process.
  • Connect with Public Sector decision-makers on application and cloud modernization initiatives to build a qualified pipeline.
  • Sell SaaS solutions directly or through integrators to complex U.S. Federal organizations with multiple decision-makers.
  • Manage and retain existing Federal accounts through consultative engagements.
  • Expand consumption within enterprise SaaS accounts while developing new-logo opportunities.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of field sales experience selling enterprise software or business technology products and services to U.S. Federal agencies.
  • Technical acumen with the ability to connect technology to business value and mission needs.
  • Experience selling application, monitoring, or cloud-related complex software solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience with data management and analysis.
  • Experience managing and growing existing SaaS enterprise accounts.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales goals through new-logo acquisition.
  • Ability to forecast and manage sales expenses.
  • Exemplary written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Experience selling observability or APM/monitoring solutions is preferred.
  • Exposure to a consumption-based sales motion is a plus.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
