Description

  • Own a territory and drive acquisition of new enterprise accounts.
  • Build and grow a strong pipeline through prospecting and new-logo acquisition.
  • Navigate complex organizations and sell to multiple stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Identify customer needs and position the appropriate offering from New Relic’s portfolio.
  • Work alongside marketing, Solutions Consultants, and Sales Development Representatives to drive results.
  • Use the sales process to close large, multi-year consumption-based deals.
  • Prepare accurate forecasts, document activities in Salesforce, and report progress to sales leadership.
  • Research companies and market signals to identify potential demand triggers.
  • Develop relationships with executive sponsors, influencers, and end users to expand top-of-funnel opportunities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales experience.
  • Field sales experience selling software to F1000 companies.
  • Demonstrated, sustained success in enterprise sales.
  • Experience in consultative, enterprise solutions selling.
  • Strong hunter mentality with deep and creative prospecting skills.
  • High energy, strong business sense, and excellent teaming skills.
  • Exceptional knowledge of observability solutions and New Relic positioning.
  • Previous experience selling observability solutions preferred.
  • Technical background preferred.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
