Description

  • Own a territory and drive acquisition of new enterprise accounts.
  • Build and manage an ambitious pipeline of new-logo opportunities.
  • Target accounts not already covered by other teams.
  • Identify customer needs and configure the right offering from New Relic’s portfolio.
  • Develop relationships across target accounts, including C-level sponsors, influencers, and day-to-day users.
  • Expand top-of-funnel activity through prospecting alongside centralized marketing efforts.
  • Use the New Relic sales process to close large-scale, multi-year consumption-based deals.
  • Prepare accurate forecasts, track activity in Salesforce, and communicate progress to sales management.
  • Work closely with a dedicated Solutions Consultant and Sales Development Representative to drive results.
  • Research public information and market signals to identify demand triggers and sales opportunities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales experience.
  • Field sales experience selling software to Fortune 1000 companies.
  • Consistent, substantial success in enterprise sales.
  • Experience in consultative enterprise solutions selling.
  • Strong ambition, high energy, and solid business judgment.
  • Deep hunter-oriented sales skills.
  • Previous experience selling observability solutions, preferred.
  • Technical background, preferred.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
