Description

  • Write, fix, execute, and version backend application code and maintain existing services.
  • Assist in planning, design, and implementation of SOA/microservice backend platforms focused on RESTful web APIs.
  • Develop high-level and low-level designs for highly scalable components and services.
  • Implement and ensure non-functional requirements including scalability, high availability, performance, and security.
  • Use Java-based frameworks (e.g., Spark, Spring, ORM) to build backend functionality.
  • Participate in build, deployment, and DevOps activities on AWS.
  • Track defects, triage bugs with business owners and users, and manage the backlog.
  • Work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team, liaise with subject matter experts, and assist technical advisors in defining the project roadmap.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of professional experience; proficiency in Java / J2EE.
  • Experience working with SOA, multitenant platforms, or SaaS platforms (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or a similar cloud environment.
  • Experience with scripting languages for automated builds/deployments (preferred).
  • Experience coding, debugging, executing, and versioning existing application code.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and communicate with business stakeholders.
