Description

  • Serve as the technical point of reference for the squad and broader engineering team.
  • Lead design and architectural discussions for systems, frameworks, state management patterns, component architecture, and design systems.
  • Ensure high standards for architecture, performance optimization, accessibility, and code quality.
  • Conduct regular code reviews and mentor team members.
  • Partner with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define requirements and deliver features on time.
  • Contribute to engineering strategy and vision for customer-facing experiences.
  • Solve complex technical problems and optimize existing systems for scalability and performance.
  • Mentor and develop engineers, including senior-level team members.
  • Leverage AI-native tools and approaches to improve development speed, product capabilities, and engineering effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of software engineering experience building and evolving complex, high-scale systems and customer-facing applications.
  • Strong full-stack expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript on the frontend.
  • Backend experience with JavaScript, Java, and Golang.
  • Significant experience in AWS-based cloud architecture environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of modern software engineering practices, design patterns, and architectures.
  • Experience designing high-traffic web applications and scalable distributed services.
  • Experience regularly mentoring senior-level engineers and driving results.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with AI-native tools such as Cursor, Make.com, Supabase, Netlify, Claude Code, n8n, Firecrawl, ChatGPT, Grok, Bolt, and Vercel.
  • Strong ownership mindset and willingness to code and review others’ code.
  • Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to build customer-facing solutions that address real customer needs with strong user experiences.
