Description

  • Serve as the technical point of reference for the squad and broader engineering team, ensuring best practices in architecture, performance, and accessibility.
  • Lead solution design and architectural discussions, including decisions on frameworks, state management patterns, component architecture, and design systems.
  • Advocate for and ensure the delivery of high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code.
  • Conduct regular code reviews and mentor team members.
  • Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and deliver features on time.
  • Contribute to the engineering department’s strategy and vision for customer-facing experiences.
  • Solve complex technical problems and optimize existing systems for scalability and performance.
  • Mentor and develop engineers to help them grow in their technical roles and careers.
  • Leverage AI-native tools and approaches to improve development speed, product capabilities, and engineering effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of software engineering experience.
  • Proven track record of building and evolving complex, high-scale systems and customer-facing applications.
  • Strong full-stack expertise.
  • Experience with frontend technologies including JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • Experience with backend technologies including JavaScript, Java, and Golang.
  • Significant experience in AWS-based cloud architecture environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of modern software engineering practices, design patterns, and architectures.
  • Experience with AI-native tools such as Cursor, Make.com, Supabase, Netlify, Claude Code, n8n, Firecrawl, ChatGPT, Grok, Bolt, and Vercel.
  • Experience designing high-traffic web applications and scalable distributed services.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience mentoring senior-level engineers regularly.
  • Strong ownership mindset and willingness to code and review others’ code.
  • Ability to implement customer-facing solutions with exceptional user experiences.
