Description

  • Serve as the technical point of reference for the squad and broader engineering team, upholding best practices in architecture, performance, and accessibility.
  • Lead system design and architectural discussions, including decisions on frameworks, state management patterns, component architecture, and design systems.
  • Deliver high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code while conducting code reviews and mentoring team members.
  • Partner closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define requirements and deliver features on time.
  • Contribute to the engineering department’s strategy and vision by bringing ideas to improve customer-facing experiences.
  • Solve complex technical problems and optimize existing systems for scalability and performance.
  • Mentor and develop engineers, helping them grow in their technical roles and careers.
  • Leverage AI-native tools and approaches to improve development speed, product capabilities, and engineering effectiveness across the software lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of software engineering experience building and evolving complex, high-scale systems and customer-facing applications.
  • Strong full-stack expertise in frontend JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • Strong backend experience with JavaScript, Java, and Golang.
  • Experience mentoring senior-level engineers regularly and driving results.
  • Significant experience in AWS-based cloud architecture environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of modern software engineering practices, design patterns, and architectures.
  • Experience with AI-native tools such as Cursor, Make.com, Supabase, Netlify, Claude Code, n8n, Firecrawl, ChatGPT, Grok, Bolt, and Vercel.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience designing high-traffic web applications and scalable distributed services.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong ownership mentality and willingness to code and review others’ code.
  • Ability to implement customer-facing solutions that address users’ true needs with strong user experiences.
