Description

  • Partner with sales executives to support the technical aspects of the sales cycle.
  • Qualify and validate opportunities from a technical perspective to help accelerate deal progress.
  • Run technology evaluations, including technical discovery, presentations, demonstrations, proof of value, sizing, and documentation of decision criteria.
  • Build trusted relationships with customer stakeholders and act as a technical advisor.
  • Co-create reference and solution architectures with customers across cloud and on-premise environments.
  • Integrate Neo4j with existing customer architectures and applications.
  • Stay current on Neo4j capabilities and related third-party tools and services.
  • Communicate customer needs and product feedback to Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales.
  • Drive demand through account-based marketing events, conferences, and trade shows.
  • Travel as needed to support deal creation, closure, and team collaboration.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of customer-facing experience in a Sales, Pre-sales, Solutions Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Technical Consultant role, ideally in a high-growth environment.
  • Experience with data technologies in enterprise data architecture, data analytics, data science, or cloud data architecture.
  • Working knowledge of graph databases such as Neo4j, TigerGraph, OrientDB, or JanusGraph is a strong plus.
  • Hands-on experience with relational (SQL) and/or NoSQL databases.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, Java, JavaScript, or Go.
  • Familiarity with GenAI, LLMs, and Agentic AI.
  • Experience designing, developing, and implementing data solutions in public cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, or on-premise.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences through presentations, white-boarding, and demonstrations.
  • Knowledge of financial services and/or insurance is required.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to prioritize, pivot, and solve problems.
