Description

  • Own a defined slice of the monthly and quarterly Group consolidation under US GAAP, including one-off transactions.
  • Lead onboarding of new entities into the consolidation process, including acquisitions, new SPVs, restructurings, functional currency analysis, chart-of-accounts mapping, and reporting package design.
  • Prepare consolidation packs and supporting workpapers in close coordination with the Accounting Team.
  • Manage the close calendar for the in-scope portfolio.
  • Author or co-author technical accounting memos covering assigned transactions, including revenue recognition, leases, business combinations, asset acquisitions, financial instruments, share-based payments, restricted cash, and functional currency topics.
  • Lead day-to-day auditor interactions on assigned technical positions and obtain sign-off from finance leadership before external sharing.
  • Monitor new accounting pronouncements and propose impact assessments to the Reporting Team.
  • Operate, document, and improve a defined subset of SOX controls, including design, execution, evidence, deficiencies, and remediation.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for SOX testing on owned controls.
  • Contribute to the Form 20-F annual report, quarterly press releases, and half-year disclosures, including ownership of assigned footnotes end-to-end.

Requirements

  • ACA, ACCA, CPA, or local equivalent.
  • 7+ years of experience in accounting or financial reporting.
  • 2+ years of post-qualification experience in industry in an accounting or group reporting role.
  • Big 4 or top-tier mid-market firm training.
  • Hands-on expertise in IFRS; US GAAP experience is a strong plus due to the Group's 20-F filing.
  • Multi-entity, multi-currency consolidation experience.
  • Experience with NetSuite preferred; HFM, OneStream, SAP BFC, BPC, or similar systems acceptable.
  • SOX knowledge is ideal for this role.
  • Direct experience working with Big 4 firms and component auditors on technical positions.
  • Strong written English for drafting memos, footnote disclosures, and audit responses.
  • Self-directed and able to own a sub-process end-to-end without close supervision.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-changing, post-IPO environment with evolving processes.
  • Stakeholder management experience across Finance, Tax, Treasury, Legal, FP&A, and Business teams.
  • Authorization to work in the country of application, with proof of employment eligibility required at hire.
