Description

  • Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise wired and wireless networks with a focus on scalability, security, and high availability.
  • Own and maintain network connectivity between branch offices worldwide and help standardize architecture and operations with global teams.
  • Manage remote access systems such as VPN, including capacity planning, resiliency, and ongoing improvements.
  • Deploy, maintain, and improve automation and monitoring tools while driving automation-first operations.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex network issues across regions and providers, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventative measures.
  • Test, evaluate, and introduce new networking equipment and emerging technologies, and share findings with global R&D teams.
  • Collaborate with telecom service providers, lead escalations, manage SLAs, and drive service improvements.

Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP technologies.
  • Familiarity with dynamic routing protocols.
  • Experience automating with Python, Go, or other popular programming languages and the ability to design and maintain production-grade automation.
  • Proficiency in Unix system administration.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade network hardware such as Cisco, Aruba, Arista, Extreme, or Juniper.
  • Strong ability to work independently and own outcomes end to end in a senior or lead capacity.
  • Experience with network automation frameworks such as Ansible, Terraform, NetBox, Nornir, or SaltStack is a plus.
  • Experience designing, developing, and operating high-load distributed systems is a plus.
  • Experience building high-density enterprise wireless networks, ideally at CWNA level or higher, is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of IPv6 is a plus.
