Description

  • Define and architect automated system integration testing frameworks for complex multi-component service environments.
  • Review OpenAPI/Swagger REST specifications and Avro schemas during architecture design to enforce contract-first validation.
  • Partner early with solution architects to identify and resolve integration issues during the design phase.
  • Apply AI and LLM tools to generate test logic from L2 specifications and Gherkin-based behavior models.
  • Create and run end-to-end integration tests across multiple systems in the order-to-report workflow.
  • Prioritize API, event, webhook, and database-state validation over fragile UI automation.
  • Validate build and dependency alignment across staging environments before deployment.
  • Develop AI-driven log analysis and root-cause detection within the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Lead and align cross-functional teams through technical influence rather than formal authority.
  • Mentor software quality engineers and software engineers in test on systems thinking and automation practices.
  • Introduce chaos engineering experiments to test resiliency, fail-soft behavior, and self-healing capabilities.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of software development or test automation engineering experience.
  • At least 5 years in a senior or lead role.
  • Experience building automation for enterprise-grade distributed systems.
  • Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or Go.
  • Hands-on experience with Playwright.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience testing microservices, REST/gRPC endpoints, and event-driven systems using Kafka or AWS SQS/SNS.
  • Experience with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, and CloudWatch.
  • Background in HealthTech, MedTech, or FinTech.
  • Knowledge of FDA design controls, IEC 62304, or HIPAA is highly advantageous.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a quantitative discipline.
