Description

  • Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to grow sales and exceed performance goals.
  • Manage daily sales activity, revenue, expenses, and overall business results for the territory.
  • Acquire new accounts while retaining and expanding existing customer relationships.
  • Build and maintain key opinion leader (KOL) relationships.
  • Drive business opportunities and partnerships with academic and community cancer centers, clinics, and hospitals.
  • Create and maintain a comprehensive business plan aligned with company goals and values.
  • Execute sales strategies, tactics, and marketing initiatives, including pull-through opportunities.
  • Implement laboratory services agreements (LSAs).
  • Collaborate with sales, cross-functional teams, and market partners to achieve objectives.
  • Conduct business ethically and transparently while educating physicians and accounts on products, processes, and reimbursement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5+ years of successful sales experience, preferably in oncology or diagnostic sales.
  • Knowledge of the local oncology market, molecular diagnostics, personalized medicine, and reimbursement.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and financial management skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel 50%–75% within the territory.
  • Strategic, forward-thinking, and able to execute tactically.
  • Ability to work independently as a self-starter in a startup environment.
  • Experience in business analysis and knowledge of oncology and healthcare business trends.
  • Preferred ability to demonstrate oncology clinical and medical expertise.
