Description

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for senior technical and strategic leadership roles from approval through offer.
  • Build and maintain strong pipelines of passive talent through creative sourcing, networking, and data-informed approaches.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers by providing market intelligence, refining job profiles, and coaching inclusive interviewing practices.
  • Lead complex offer negotiations involving base salary, bonus, and equity to support strong candidate conversion and a positive candidate experience.
  • Identify bottlenecks in the hiring funnel and implement scalable improvements to speed up hiring without reducing quality.
  • Work closely with the CTO and senior engineering leaders on hiring strategy and talent decisions.
  • Use recruiting metrics and funnel data to influence hiring decisions and improve process outcomes.
  • Operate as a talent consultant and strategic partner for technical and executive hiring needs.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in full-cycle recruitment, with significant focus on technical environments such as Software Engineering, Product, Data Science, or AI.
  • Proven experience hiring at the leadership or executive level.
  • Strong ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships and high-stakes negotiations.
  • Deep technical fluency and the ability to communicate effectively with technical candidates.
  • Data-driven approach with experience using metrics such as pass-through rates and source of hire.
  • Comfort building recruiting processes from scratch in a fast-evolving environment.
  • Empathy-first approach with a strong focus on candidate experience.
  • Preferred: experience at a fast-paced startup.
  • Preferred: experience with modern ATS platforms such as Greenhouse or Lever and advanced sourcing tools such as Findem, Gem, Juicebox, or SeekOut.
  • Preferred: experience with talent intelligence and market mapping for location or hub planning.
  • Preferred: experience working on globally distributed teams.

Benefits

  • Annual salary range of CAD $125,000 to $165,000.
  • Additional compensation includes an annual bonus and equity.
  • Benefits are included as part of the overall offer package.
  • Remote work from Canada.
