Description

  • Drive expansion in the European market by acquiring new customers and growing business within the existing customer base.
  • Lead complex acquisition and licensing negotiations from initial discussion through closing.
  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships and a strong professional network to support regional growth.
  • Serve as the technical and commercial expert on Seed-X AI solutions for customer discussions and support.
  • Create and implement regional sales, business development, and marketing strategies to achieve growth targets.
  • Monitor regional market trends and developments to inform commercial strategy and decision-making.
  • Manage key accounts and provide active customer care to build long-term customer relationships.
  • Represent Seed-X at marketing events, shows, congresses, and speaking opportunities.
  • Provide overall management of the regional sales organization and lead the team responsible for operations, service, and support.
  • Optimize sales structures and processes, and oversee planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of relevant senior sales and leadership experience in the grain or seed industry.
  • Deep knowledge of seed growers' needs and familiarity with sales of agricultural machinery and/or cutting-edge technologies.
  • Proven experience managing teams of 10 employees.
  • Strong track record of closing high-value deals and increasing revenue.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement vision and strategy.
  • Fluent English is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in additional European languages is a strong advantage.
  • Strong communication skills, enthusiasm, and team spirit.
  • High service orientation with strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Good analytical skills and a self-starter mentality.
