Description

  • Shape the technical direction, tooling, and engineering standards for the data platform.
  • Design and improve reusable frameworks, internal tools, and automation for data pipeline development.
  • Define testing, CI/CD, quality-gate, and platform-reliability standards.
  • Develop reusable data modeling, schema, data contract, validation, and schema-evolution approaches.
  • Improve platform observability, data quality, lineage, and developer experience.
  • Convert recurring delivery challenges into scalable capabilities that reduce customer onboarding effort.
  • Apply AI to engineering workflows, establish guardrails, and measure effects on productivity and quality.
  • Lead technical design discussions, mentor engineers, and guide architectural trade-offs.
  • Document best practices and drive adoption of standard platform patterns across teams.
  • Evaluate architecture against time-to-value, cost-to-serve, and delivery predictability.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience designing, building, and evolving scalable data platforms and production data pipelines.
  • Experience leading technical design, mentoring engineers, and establishing engineering standards across teams.
  • Strong software engineering skills developing reusable frameworks, tooling, and automation for data processing.
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, schema evolution, data contracts, and validation across multiple source systems.
  • Practical experience with automated and integration testing, quality gates, and CI/CD deployment pipelines.
  • Experience improving observability, diagnosing operational issues, and building reliable data services.
  • Experience implementing data quality and lineage practices that enable early issue detection and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to simplify engineering workflows through reusable, maintainable tools.
  • Ability to identify and evaluate practical AI engineering use cases and establish quality and reliability safeguards.
  • Ability to balance technical quality, delivery speed, operational cost, and long-term maintainability.
  • C1+ English proficiency and the ability to clearly communicate technical concepts and architectural decisions.
  • Strong collaboration skills with engineering teams and domain experts.
