Description

  • Lead technical discovery and assess AI adoption, SDLC processes, architecture, tooling, and team readiness.
  • Evaluate the existing AI and agentic engineering framework, identify gaps, and define the target state.
  • Own GenAI solution architecture and integrations with development environments, repositories, Jira, Confluence, CI/CD, and related systems.
  • Create a prioritized transformation roadmap covering dependencies, risks, architecture decisions, and implementation priorities.
  • Define success criteria, select pilot projects and workflows, and establish AI impact measurement baselines.
  • Design and implement agentic workflows, including agents, prompts, context access, tools, guardrails, human review, quality gates, and model routing.
  • Define AI governance, evaluation, observability, telemetry, auditability, and compliance approaches.
  • Lead pilot execution, evaluate results against agreed metrics, and develop reusable AI engineering practices.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, engineering leadership, or technical consulting, with recent Generative AI experience.
  • Experience leading GenAI adoption, AI-assisted SDLC transformation, or enterprise AI engineering initiatives.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of LLMs, RAG, AI agents, agentic workflows, prompt and context engineering, tool calling, and multi-agent systems.
  • Experience designing enterprise GenAI architectures involving orchestration, knowledge integration, guardrails, evaluation, observability, and human-in-the-loop patterns.
  • Hands-on experience with Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, OpenAI Codex, or similar AI engineering tools.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, SDLC, CI/CD, APIs, cloud environments, and enterprise integrations.
  • Experience with technical discovery, architecture assessments, gap analysis, roadmap development, and AI agent integration into engineering workflows.
  • Understanding of AI governance, security, telemetry, auditability, and responsible AI practices.
  • Ability to define and evaluate engineering and AI adoption metrics.
  • Strong leadership, workshop facilitation, stakeholder management, presentation, and ambiguity-management skills.
  • Experience implementing AI governance in regulated enterprises is preferred.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or other regulated industries is preferred.
