Description

  • Design and implement comprehensive cybersecurity architectures, including Zero Trust, secure access, and advanced threat protection.
  • Lead thought leadership initiatives and establish best practices for cybersecurity.
  • Prepare and maintain client proposals, architectural diagrams, and statements of work.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align security strategies with business objectives and IT frameworks.
  • Support sales teams with strategic proposals, BOMs, technical narratives, client presentations, and RFP responses.
  • Conduct discovery sessions, assess client environments, and present tailored security solutions.
  • Partner with Account Executives to understand client needs and deliver comprehensive cybersecurity solutions.
  • Oversee solution development efforts, including product evaluations, solution narratives, and high-level architectures.
  • Provide strategic guidance across the cybersecurity landscape and support integrated design and implementation.
  • Mentor team members and take on additional leadership responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on architecture, engineering, and strategy.
  • Extensive experience with security technologies from vendors such as Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cloudflare, SentinelOne, CrowdStrike, and Sumo Logic.
  • Advanced certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are highly preferred.
  • Deep expertise in cybersecurity frameworks and methodologies, including NIST, ISO 27001, and MITRE ATT&CK.
  • Strong understanding of risk management and compliance requirements.
  • Proven ability to facilitate high-level discussions, drive consensus, and lead collaborative solutions across teams.
  • Experience building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Exceptional time management and project management skills for large-scale security projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including technical documentation, security policies, and architectural diagrams.
  • Advanced knowledge in at least one area such as cloud security, network security, or application security.
  • Familiarity with threat modeling, incident response, and security monitoring solutions.
  • Experience with multi-vendor security environments and complex integration challenges.
  • Based in the United States on the West Coast; California preferred.
