Description

  • Conduct hands-on discovery sessions to assess client architectures, workloads, identity strategy, security posture, and cloud maturity across Azure and GCP.
  • Design secure, scalable cloud architectures across Azure and GCP, covering compute, networking, identity, governance, storage, data, and modernization.
  • Translate business needs into technical roadmaps, solution outlines, and recommendation decks.
  • Create solution proposals, statements of work, pricing models, architecture diagrams, and executive-ready technical presentations.
  • Partner with account executives to shape opportunities, support qualification, and influence client decision-making.
  • Advise clients on governance, RBAC cleanup, policy and blueprint enforcement, identity modernization, and secure configuration baselines.
  • Guide clients evaluating hybrid and multi-cloud workloads, including AI/ML, analytics, container workloads, and modernization pathways.
  • Ensure smooth handoff to delivery teams through detailed design notes, scope clarification, and solution validation.
  • Track developments in Azure AI, GCP AI/Vertex, Kubernetes-based container orchestration, FinOps, and zero-trust cloud security.
  • Develop reusable templates, solution patterns, battlecards, and internal enablement materials for the presales organization.
  • Complete ongoing security awareness training, comply with company policies, and escalate security risks as needed.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of hands-on experience in Azure architecture, including governance, identity, networking, compute, landing zones, and security.
  • Strong foundational understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Working experience with GCP IAM, GKE, and analytics/BigQuery is preferred.
  • Experience writing SOWs, level-of-effort estimates, and technical proposals.
  • Ability to articulate cost optimization, migration strategy, modernization, and cloud governance.
  • Excellent communication skills and executive presence in client workshops and presentations.
  • Cloud certifications are highly preferred, including AZ-305, AZ-500, and AZ-104.
  • GCP Professional Cloud Architect certification is optional but preferred.
  • Must be based in the United States.
  • Travel up to 25% may be required.
