Description

  • Develop and manage new sales pursuits in energy markets.
  • Develop and close new business opportunities to drive revenue and growth.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with key and strategic clients in the power and electric utility sector.
  • Develop strategic company-to-company relationships with key decision makers.
  • Manage targeted client accounts to support growth opportunities.
  • Nurture long-term client relationships and act as a trusted advisor.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop, prioritize, and implement market strategies.
  • Pursue new market segments, business opportunities, and initiatives.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customer technical teams, IT directors, CTOs, and other senior technical stakeholders across multiple accounts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience; graduate degree is a plus.
  • Strong business development, client service, and technical experience, ideally with a background in utility solutions and integration.
  • Solid reputation in the power and energy industry to support building and maintaining key client relationships.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding quotas.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and business professionals as well as management.
  • Experience in deal origination, sales process, and contract negotiations.
  • Highly motivated team player with a positive attitude and passion for business challenges and opportunities.
  • Willingness to travel for customer meetings and industry events.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug screening.
