Description

  • Design and implement machine learning models for forecasting, recommendation systems, pricing, churn, and other business needs.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and relationships in data.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define problems, success metrics, and data requirements.
  • Build scalable, maintainable machine learning workflows and support model deployment.
  • Monitor model performance and retrain models as needed to maintain reliability.
  • Communicate insights and results clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Work closely with product, engineering, and business teams to integrate models into solutions.
  • Mentor junior team members and promote data science best practices.
  • Contribute to internal standards for testing, reproducibility, and documentation.
  • Stay current with advances in machine learning and AI and bring new ideas to the team.

Requirements

  • Expert knowledge of Python for data analysis and machine learning modeling.
  • Hands-on experience with common machine learning libraries and frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of supervised and unsupervised learning, time series analysis, and A/B testing.
  • Experience deploying machine learning models into production and maintaining them.
  • Proficiency in writing clean, reproducible, production-grade code.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases and/or data lakes containing structured and unstructured data.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts to business stakeholders clearly and effectively.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams with product, engineering, and business units.
  • Experience with version control using Git and agile development practices.
  • Experience with recommendation systems, dynamic pricing algorithms, or customer segmentation techniques is preferred.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure and associated data/ML services is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Docker, Airflow or Prefect, and MLflow or similar tools is preferred.
  • Familiarity with ML observability and monitoring tools such as Evidently, WhyLabs, or Prometheus plus Grafana is preferred.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for ML systems is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Poetry or uv is preferred.
