Description

  • Own PayBox initiatives end-to-end, from problem definition and technical design through production delivery and iteration.
  • Help develop PayBox through its next phase of 0-to-1 product growth.
  • Build payment and peer-to-peer transfer experiences for AI interfaces.
  • Develop integrations across AI platforms, applications, and the PayBox ecosystem.
  • Build infrastructure and product experiences that support new applications and integrations.
  • Partner with Product to turn ambitious ideas into simple, usable experiences.
  • Improve onboarding, UX, and other areas of product friction.
  • Make pragmatic technical and product decisions using first-principles reasoning.
  • Work across the product and technology stack to address the highest-impact problems.
  • Use AI tools extensively while maintaining independent technical judgment and accountability.

Requirements

  • Exceptional technical reasoning and strong engineering fundamentals for solving ambiguous problems.
  • High agency and willingness to identify important problems without waiting for fully defined requirements.
  • Experience building and shipping meaningful products, projects, or systems end-to-end.
  • Strong systems thinking, architecture skills, and ability to evaluate technical trade-offs.
  • Strong product judgment and attention to user experience and implementation quality.
  • Comfort working in ambiguous, fast-changing environments with shifting priorities.
  • Ability to use AI tools effectively without outsourcing technical reasoning or accountability.
  • Deep motivation to own outcomes and take responsibility for product quality.
  • Experience as a founding or early engineer at a high-growth startup (preferred).
  • Experience with AI-native products, payments, fintech, crypto, DeFi, MCP, or other agent protocols (preferred).
