Description

  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve MoonPay flows, product performance, and customer safety.
  • Work with product teams and business stakeholders to define data-driven strategies and measure product outcomes.
  • Define KPIs, design tracking, and set up monitoring for new product launches and product changes.
  • Oversee and implement A/B tests and other experiments to support optimization efforts.
  • Design, build, and scale internal and external data products such as dashboards, reports, data models, algorithms, and integrations.
  • Communicate complex findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences to support business decisions.
  • Take ownership of analytics across the full product lifecycle, from problem definition through launch, measurement, and optimization.
  • Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering to influence product strategy and customer experience.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience as a data scientist or data analyst, preferably in a product-focused role.
  • Advanced SQL, data modelling, and data visualisation skills.
  • Strong understanding of statistics and probability, including experience running large-scale A/B tests.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with product and operations teams.
  • Experience in fintech and/or crypto is preferred.
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to summarize complex findings for varied audiences.
  • Nice-to-have experience with dbt, BigQuery, Looker, and Python.
  • Nice-to-have experience in start-ups or scale-ups.
  • Nice-to-have experience in the KYC / Onboarding space.
  • Bonus points for working knowledge of machine learning principles and experience supporting or driving ML initiatives.
