Description

  • Manage, develop, and hire a team of KYB Operations Analysts as needed.
  • Set and track individual and team KPIs, and report on the health of KYB Operations.
  • Oversee end-to-end KYB reviews across MoonPay products to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance.
  • Own QA frameworks for the KYB team and implement corrective actions when needed.
  • Improve KYB workflows, procedures, and documentation to create scalable operational processes.
  • Partner with Product and senior stakeholders to improve tooling, automation, and onboarding efficiency.
  • Represent KYB Operations in cross-functional discussions with Compliance, Legal, Product, and Sales.
  • Serve as the day-to-day domain authority for KYB process questions, escalations, and operational guidance.
  • Translate compliance policy into clear operational practices that support accurate and efficient reviews.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in KYB, KYC, or AML operations within crypto, fintech, payments, or financial services.
  • Demonstrated experience managing or leading an operational team and driving team performance.
  • Deep expertise in corporate KYB reviews, including ownership and control structure analysis, UBO identification, and risk assessment.
  • Strong process design skills with the ability to translate complex compliance requirements into scalable workflows.
  • Data-driven decision-making skills, including KPI setting, performance analysis, and prioritization of improvements.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills for working with senior stakeholders, external partners, and frontline analysts.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Compliance, Legal, Product, and Engineering teams.
  • Familiarity with crypto, stablecoin, and Web3 business models and their regulatory landscape is preferred.
  • Experience with compliance tooling or case management systems in a KYC/KYB environment is preferred.
  • Prior exposure to BPO teams or a multi-vendor operational environment is preferred.
  • Experience supporting an operations function through significant scale, tooling migration, or regulatory uplift is a bonus.
