Description

  • Lead the retention product area and own key user experiences across Home, Profile, Settings, Notification Centre, Login, Limits, and Account Closure for the FX app.
  • Work with business leadership to drive objectives and results for the FX business unit.
  • Build relationships with other internal business units and optimize integrations with their systems.
  • Communicate product plans and updates with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Define, track, and monitor product OKRs, OKPs, and KPIs aligned to business goals.
  • Gather, analyze, and synthesize customer feedback, product usage data, and research insights into recommendations.
  • Design and execute user research, usability tests, and A/B tests to validate solutions and measure impact.
  • Identify, prioritize, and deep-dive into customer and business problems to uncover root causes and opportunities.
  • Create low-fidelity wireframes, write product requirements documents, and partner with designers on high-fidelity designs.
  • Work closely with engineering to deliver, test, deploy, and iterate on product features in an agile environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience in a heavily customer-facing product area such as onboarding or core app experience.
  • 2+ years of product management experience on a mobile app at a fintech start-up or scale-up.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, math, science, or another technical/analytical discipline from a top university, or high grades from a good university; equivalent experience at leading tech companies may be considered.
  • Strong analytical ability and business sense, with experience prioritizing backlog items and driving OKRs in a data-driven manner.
  • Experience leading product development and launch end-to-end, from discovery through release.
  • Excellent planning, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and understanding of simple UI/UX and design best practices, with experience creating wireframes and working closely with designers.
  • Startup mindset with the ability to move fast, take initiative, make decisions with limited information, and build products from 0 to 1.
  • Knowledge of product management practices and tools such as user research techniques, usability testing, A/B testing, data analysis tools, JIRA, and Figma.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for PRDs, Jira tickets, stakeholder communication, and customer or partner interactions.
  • Comfort with agile methodologies; Scrum certification or Scrum/similar agile experience preferred.
  • Experience documenting processes and results, with familiarity with Confluence.
  • Hands-on experience with data tools such as Mixpanel.
  • Preferred: experience with products targeting developing or emerging markets.
  • Preferred: experience in a fast-growing start-up or scale-up environment.
  • Preferred: ability to write SQL queries.
  • Preferred: experience working with cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing/growth, legal, compliance, customer support, and operations.
