Description

  • Own the full Braze platform architecture, including SDK integration strategy, campaign delivery infrastructure, and identity management.
  • Design and govern event taxonomy, custom attribute schemas, and data point consumption policies for Braze.
  • Oversee Braze SDK instrumentation across iOS, Android, and Web in collaboration with engineering.
  • Architect Braze Currents pipelines and connected content integrations for closed-loop attribution and real-time personalization.
  • Build and maintain Braze Canvas flows for complex lifecycle journeys, branching logic, experimentation, and analytics.
  • Lead lifecycle marketing strategy across acquisition, onboarding, activation, engagement, retention, and win-back stages.
  • Develop multi-channel orchestration across push, in-app, email, SMS, and WhatsApp with appropriate targeting and suppression logic.
  • Own localisation infrastructure, including template versioning, send-time optimization, and compliance by market.
  • Build a structured A/B testing and experimentation program with documented hypotheses, results, and learnings.
  • Own CRM performance measurement, incrementality frameworks, and executive reporting on revenue impact.
  • Manage, mentor, and grow the CRM team while partnering with Product, Data Engineering, Compliance, and Legal.

Requirements

  • 8–10+ years of experience in direct-to-consumer marketing, with a strong bias toward growth, lifecycle, or CRM.
  • 4+ years in a managerial or leadership role with direct reports and cross-functional accountability.
  • Proven experience in fintech, remittance, payments, or consumer banking is strongly preferred.
  • Experience operating across multiple markets, languages, and time zones with localisation and regulatory constraints.
  • Expert-level command of Braze Canvases and strong hands-on experience with Braze's data model, SDKs, Currents, Segments, and identity layer.
  • Proficiency in Liquid templating, connected content, send-time optimization, rate limiting, and delivery controls within Braze.
  • Ability to write and interpret SQL for segmentation, analysis, and funnel debugging.
  • Strong working knowledge of cohort analysis, retention curves, and LTV modeling.
  • Experience with A/B test design, statistical significance, p-values, confidence intervals, and sample size calculation.
  • Comfort working with data warehouses such as Snowflake or BigQuery and BI tools such as Looker or Metabase.
  • Strong communicator who can translate technical CRM logic into business outcomes for executive audiences.
  • Experience building CRM functions from an early or growth stage, not only maintaining mature programs.
  • High ownership mentality with accountability for revenue outcomes.
  • Familiarity with Braze Catalogs, mobile push best practices, WhatsApp Business API, RFM segmentation, or propensity modeling is a plus.
  • Prior work in regulated financial services with marketing compliance, suppression list management, and PII handling is preferred.
