Description

  • Design scalable and performant applications, systems, and infrastructure using MongoDB.
  • Advise customers on architecture patterns and optimization strategies for MongoDB.
  • Communicate MongoDB’s technical and business value to customer stakeholders.
  • Partner with sales teams on account planning, opportunity qualification, and pipeline strategy.
  • Own technical discovery, demos, proof of value, presentations, sizing, and documentation.
  • Generate demand through technical initiatives and participation in events and account-based marketing activities.
  • Build strong customer relationships, develop champions, and support customer success and satisfaction.
  • Relay field feedback to the product team and help improve MongoDB solutions and internal processes.
  • Mentor other Solutions Consulting team members.
  • Continue training and professional development to stay current on MongoDB products and industry trends.

Requirements

  • 5 to 8 years of related industry experience, including ideally 2 years in a customer-facing role.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience with modern scripting languages such as Python, Node.js, or SQL, and/or programming languages such as C/C++, Java, or C#.
  • Experience implementing scalable and highly available distributed systems in cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Experience reviewing complex application architectures and advising on technology improvements.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with a cross-functional sales team to execute an end-to-end deal cycle.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Fluency in German or French, both verbal and written.
  • Experience developing, deploying, or supporting applications with major cloud providers (preferred).
  • Experience in a technical pre-sales role (preferred).
  • Experience with database programming and data models (preferred).
  • Experience in data engineering or AI/ML projects (preferred).
  • Understanding of sales methodologies/frameworks such as MEDDPICC or Command of the Message (preferred).
  • MongoDB Certification (preferred).
  • Cloud Provider Certification (preferred).
