Description

  • Support the sales and delivery of modernization engagements for enterprise customers.
  • Facilitate technical workshops and discovery sessions with customer architects, developers, and business leaders.
  • Partner with sales teams to shape multi-threaded account strategies and drive account plans.
  • Deliver complex technical demonstrations involving multiple applications deployed on Docker and GitHub Codespaces.
  • Advise customers on modern software development processes and application architectures.
  • Work with customer teams to modernize legacy applications into services built on MongoDB.
  • Convey complex technical and business concepts clearly to technical and business leadership.
  • Collaborate with internal MongoDB and ecosystem resources to move opportunities forward.

Requirements

  • 8 to 11 years of related experience in a customer-facing role.
  • 5 to 7 years of pre-sales experience with enterprise software.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience with modern scripting languages such as Python, Node.js, or SQL, and/or programming languages such as C/C++, Java, or C#.
  • Experience with agile development, domain-driven design, microservice architectures, test-driven development, event-driven architectures, operational data layers, and test automation.
  • Experience designing scalable and highly available distributed systems in cloud and on-prem environments.
  • Ability to install and deliver complex demonstrations using Docker and GitHub Codespaces.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience selling databases and/or deploying applications with major cloud providers, preferred.
  • Experience with database programming and data models, preferred.
  • Experience in data engineering or AI/ML projects, preferred.
  • Experience transforming legacy systems into modern, scalable, and efficient technology stacks, preferred.
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC or Command of the Message, preferred.
  • MongoDB Certification, preferred.
  • Cloud Provider Certification, preferred.
