Description

  • Define the sponsorship and partner event strategy across flagship and third-party events.
  • Lead, coach, and grow a global distributed events team with clear priorities and operating rhythms.
  • Use AI tools and agents to improve workflows, automate reporting, and personalize attendee journeys.
  • Partner across Marketing, Sales, Product, Partner, and Communications to align events with company priorities.
  • Set the strategy, priorities, and tiering framework for global events including conferences, summits, roadshows, and sales kickoff.
  • Build integrated pre-event, onsite, and post-event programs that convert engagement into qualified pipeline.
  • Create differentiated event experiences and messaging for developers, executives, customers, partners, and technical leaders.
  • Manage the Strategic Events budget, including forecasting, allocation, and ROI.
  • Oversee agency, production, vendor, event technology, data, measurement, and attribution infrastructure.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience leading global B2B events in enterprise technology or SaaS.
  • Experience with flagship conferences, executive programs, and complex event portfolios.
  • Track record of scaling event programs alongside company growth.
  • Strong executive presence and experience influencing C-level and cross-functional stakeholders in a matrixed organization.
  • Experience leading global distributed teams, including senior individual contributors and people leaders.
  • Ability to set priorities, build operating rhythms, and develop high-performing teams across regions and time zones.
  • Demonstrated understanding of how AI drives business value; AI-forward leadership is required.
  • Familiarity with AI chat tools alone is not sufficient; partnering with technical stakeholders on AI/agent-based systems is expected.
  • Deep operational and financial experience managing multi-million-dollar budgets, agencies, vendors, and negotiations.
  • Proven accountability for pipeline and revenue impact, including attribution, revenue influence, ROI measurement, and event performance reporting.
  • Experience designing events for technical or developer audiences is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience building AI/agent-based systems is a plus but not required.

  • Base salary range of $115,000–$226,000 USD for U.S.-based candidates.
