Description

Lead global accounting close, internal control, and consolidation processes.
Own payroll, global accounts payable, fixed assets, prepaids, accruals, and equity administration.
Manage accounting operations including compliance, financial reporting, tax, cash management, and forecasting.
Develop relationships with external auditors and tax service providers in the US and internationally.
Provide leadership for ERP, expense report, AP, PR/PO, payroll, and equity system implementations and integrations.
Maintain and update accounting and operational policies, including travel and expenses and fixed assets policies.
Review and develop policies and controls to ensure compliance with company policies and US GAAP.
Manage local, state, federal, and international reporting requirements and tax filings.
Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, IT, Legal, and business teams to improve processes and financial inputs.
Lead and develop an accounting team of US and offshore employees and manage special projects.

Requirements

Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting.
CPA license required.
15+ years of accounting experience, including senior management experience.
Strong in-depth knowledge of US GAAP and local regulations.
Experience leading offshore accounting centers of excellence or shared services.
Experience engaging third-party consultants for specialized expertise.
Experience with M&A activities and changing entity structures, including opening and closing foreign entities.
Experience with Oracle NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
Demonstrated use of generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, or Gemini to improve productivity or problem solving.
High ethical standards, strong attention to detail, excellent organization, and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
