Description

  • Serve as the senior technical point of contact for APAC clients from early technical discussions through production deployment.
  • Guide financial institutions and fintechs through onboarding and integration workflows.
  • Design secure, scalable deployment approaches that connect legacy and modern systems.
  • Troubleshoot, fix, and build solutions alongside client engineering teams.
  • Partner with sales on technical proposals, demonstrations, RFP responses, and enterprise procurement processes.
  • Work with internal security teams to ensure integrations meet security, privacy, compliance, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain and improve technical documentation and developer guides for regional developers.
  • Gather customer feedback and translate it into product and API improvements.
  • Represent the company at regional conferences, workshops, hackathons, and industry meetings.
  • Develop playbooks and reusable integration patterns to scale service delivery across APAC.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in solutions engineering, forward-deployed engineering, or enterprise integration roles, preferably in fintech, blockchain, or enterprise software.
  • Experience helping institutions deploy mission-critical production systems.
  • Ability to self-start, champion new ideas, and execute end to end.
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript or similar languages and proven REST API experience.
  • Deep knowledge of cloud platforms, especially AWS; GCP, Azure, IBM, or Thales are advantageous.
  • Experience with microservices and serverless architectures.
  • Solid understanding of enterprise security frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and PCI DSS.
  • Familiarity with APAC regulatory regimes including MAS, HKMA, JFSA, and VARA.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and deliver under pressure across multiple client engagements.
  • Strong documentation, presentation, and demonstration skills with executive-level communication ability.
  • Prior knowledge of blockchain, custody, and financial workflows is strongly preferred.
  • Understanding of custody technologies such as MPC and HSM.
  • Experience with offline signing solutions is advantageous.
  • Experience operating across multiple APAC markets and time zones.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills; Mandarin, Japanese, or Korean fluency is a strong plus.
  • AWS Solutions Architect or equivalent technical certification is desirable.
