Description

  • Review functional and technical requirements, conduct research, design solutions, and develop maintainable code.
  • Integrate AI-assisted development tools into daily engineering workflows to improve delivery speed and quality.
  • Manage context and harness engineering to produce reliable output from agentic development tools.
  • Perform unit, automation, peer, and code testing, including code reviews.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project requirements.
  • Lead or co-lead projects and technical design efforts.
  • Document technical work and contribute to design documents.
  • Provide training, project demonstrations, and presentations.
  • Mentor other engineers on effective and responsible use of AI development tools.
  • Recommend code refactoring, process improvements, technologies, and tools.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in software development or software engineering.
  • Hands-on experience using AI-assisted engineering tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Devin AI, or similar.
  • Understanding of agent instructions, skills, context engineering, and harnesses for production-quality results.
  • Proficiency with modern backend or full-stack technologies, including Go, Java, Python, TypeScript/Node, Vanilla JavaScript, or PReact.
  • Experience designing and implementing web services and REST APIs.
  • Experience with RDBMS DDL/SQL, ORM frameworks, and CSS.
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, plus Git and continuous integration.
  • Knowledge of authentication and security protocols, including OAuth2 and OIDC.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, work independently, reason logically, and develop innovative solutions.
  • Experience delivering projects accelerated or improved through AI-assisted development; Kanban, LLM features, Terraform/platform engineering, MiSop, and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science are preferred.
