Description

  • Design, develop, test, and release production-ready mobile web SDKs, demo apps, and code samples.
  • Integrate third-party libraries and internal C++ computer vision libraries into the SDKs.
  • Write and execute automated unit, functional, integration, and UI tests to ensure product quality.
  • Create and maintain internal software documentation and the public Developer’s Guide.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, researchers, product managers, and cloud/operations engineers to define requirements and align on delivery.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum practices including daily stand-ups, refinements, planning, and retrospectives.
  • Support product quality through repeatable regression testing and debugging across multiple modules and external dependencies.
  • Contribute to the adoption of new tools and technologies within the team.
  • Occasionally mentor more junior engineers.
  • Work cross-functionally on solutions for mobile banking and identity authentication markets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in web development using modern development platforms.
  • Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and front-end SPA frameworks such as React/Redux.
  • Experience with npm, Yarn, or similar package managers.
  • Experience with Jest, Cypress, or a similar front-end testing framework.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and practices.
  • Experience building automated unit and integration tests for repeatable regression testing.
  • Competence in programming and debugging across multiple modules and external dependencies.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • 1+ year of experience implementing back-end production systems (preferred).
  • Experience developing Web SDKs for mobile devices (preferred).
  • Experience with Java, Bash scripting, Groovy, Python, and C++ (preferred).
  • Experience with image processing (preferred).
  • Understanding of machine learning principles and architectures (preferred).
  • Experience developing systems based on user stories (preferred).
