Description

  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, testable UI components and features using Angular 16+, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers across Bengaluru, the US, and other international locations in Agile/Scrum teams.
  • Integrate data from back-end services and databases to create responsive user experiences.
  • Develop and maintain UI test automation suites using Selenium, Cypress, and Jest.
  • Debug, analyze, and optimize production applications to improve reliability and performance.
  • Translate stakeholder requirements into technical solutions with a focus on usability and accessibility.
  • Stay current with industry trends and propose improvements to processes and product capabilities.
  • Mentor developers and help foster a collaborative culture of growth.
  • Work with distributed teams and contribute to documentation-first, cross-time-zone coordination.
  • Participate in design and code reviews and help drive engineering best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience building scalable, production-grade web applications.
  • Expertise in Angular v16+ and TypeScript, with strong JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 skills.
  • Experience with React and/or .NET Core is a plus.
  • Deep knowledge of accessibility and inclusive design, including WCAG 2.1 AA, ARIA, and semantic HTML.
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX best practices, performance tuning, and web application security.
  • Experience with UI automation and unit testing tools such as Cypress, Selenium, Jest, and preferably Jasmine/Karma.
  • Solid understanding of web application architecture, RESTful APIs, relational databases, and web standards.
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.
  • Proven success working in Agile environments such as Scrum or Kanban and collaborating across time zones.
  • Experience building and operating large-scale cloud or SaaS applications on Microsoft Azure is preferred.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code, containers, monitoring, and observability tools is preferred.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, problem-solving, mentorship, and self-learning abilities.
