Description

  • Own end-to-end financial planning, forecasting, and monthly close commentary for Marketing and Self-Service, including headcount, program spend, and funnel P&L drivers.
  • Build CAC, LTV, payback, and ROAS models to evaluate channel efficiency and marketing impact on pipeline and revenue.
  • Model the Self-Service/PLG funnel from sign-up through paid conversion and translate performance into a clear financial story.
  • Develop financial cases for major strategic bets such as channel shifts, brand investments, and pricing changes.
  • Use AI tools to automate variance analysis, streamline modeling workflows, and accelerate reporting.
  • Partner with leadership and People Operations to model headcount and build capacity scenarios.
  • Prepare board and executive leadership team materials that explain marketing and PLG economics in an actionable way.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Analytics, Growth, Product, and senior commercial stakeholders to influence decisions and optimize investment allocation.

Requirements

  • 6–8 years of experience in strategy/management consulting, investment banking, strategic FP&A, BizOps, or corporate strategy.
  • Experience with a high-growth SaaS or PLG business, ideally including exposure to marketing or growth finance.
  • Advanced financial modeling skills, including forecasting, scenario analysis, and unit economics.
  • Ability to analyze messy data and triangulate insights across multiple sources.
  • Strong AI-native capabilities or deep interest in using AI tools to streamline finance workflows and reporting.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with senior commercial stakeholders and influencing decisions without authority.
  • Deep familiarity with marketing efficiency metrics such as CAC, LTV, and ROAS, plus Self-Service/freemium economics.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to distill complex financial topics into concise executive-ready materials.
  • Bias to action and comfort with ambiguity.
  • Experience working with board and ELT-level materials, preferred.
