Description

  • Work with AWS infrastructure to continuously improve how the environment is operated.
  • Build and lead CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or GitHub and provide automated solutions for Infrastructure as Code deployment.
  • Implement automation and observability across infrastructure resources.
  • Propose and implement improvements to the infrastructure stack.
  • Participate in operational rotation to respond to and resolve production incidents.
  • Maintain and develop the Terraform codebase that supports Infrastructure as Code.
  • Build, maintain, and optimize Amazon Load Balancers to support traffic distribution and high availability.
  • Configure and maintain Amazon CloudFront distributions to improve content delivery and end-user experience.
  • Develop governance policies for cloud infrastructure.
  • Maintain and develop Cloud WAN infrastructure.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional experience in infrastructure, reliability, networking, or software engineering.
  • 6+ years of experience as an SRE, DevOps Engineer, Network Engineer, Software Engineer, or in a similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure, including EC2, VPC, ALB, S3, Route 53, and CloudFront.
  • Strong networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, HTTP/S, DNS, BGP, and IPv6, plus hands-on experience with AWS Cloud WAN.
  • Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform.
  • Deep understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD, automation, and production operations.
  • Strong Linux skills and proficiency in Python, Bash, or another scripting/programming language.
  • Experience driving cross-functional projects from concept to delivery in Agile environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills for troubleshooting complex distributed systems and network issues.
  • Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across engineering teams.
  • Experience with containers and Kubernetes, preferred.
  • Familiarity with AWS governance and security controls, including SCPs and IAM policies, preferred.
  • Experience improving reliability, observability, performance, or incident response processes, preferred.
  • Exposure to large-scale CDN, edge, or traffic-routing environments, preferred.
  • Experience working in globally distributed infrastructure or platform teams, preferred.
  • Basic experience using GCP and Azure, preferred.
