Description

  • Partner with Engineering managers to understand team needs and translate them into concrete people actions.
  • Independently handle people and employee relations topics for assigned client groups, escalating complex issues when needed.
  • Own performance, promotion, and talent review cycles for Engineering teams and ensure timely, fair calibration.
  • Use people data such as engagement, attrition, and performance outcomes to identify trends and recommend pragmatic interventions.
  • Coach managers on feedback, performance management, and team dynamics to strengthen their leadership.
  • Coordinate and deliver Talent & Growth programs for Engineering, including talent reviews, manager enablement, and development initiatives.
  • Support consistent execution of core people processes across the Engineering department.
  • Spar with peers on complex cases, org design questions, and Talent & Growth initiatives.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in HR or People, including work as an HRBP / People Partner or HR generalist.
  • Experience working with tech or engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confidence handling employee-relations topics with moderate complexity.
  • Strong people-data literacy and the ability to turn insights into action.
  • Solid stakeholder management and clear communication skills.
  • A coaching, collaborative working style.
  • Experience supporting Engineering organizations is preferred.
  • Experience with org design or talent review processes is a plus.
