Description

  • Own the end-to-end onboarding journey from offer acceptance through the first 90 days.
  • Coordinate with recruiting, HR operations, IT, and hiring managers to align pre-onboarding and start-date activities.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for new hires during onboarding and manage welcome communications and expectations.
  • Partner with IT to ensure remote employees receive equipment, access, software, and connectivity setup on time.
  • Coordinate completion of required onboarding forms, including I-9, W-4, benefits enrollment, and policy acknowledgments.
  • Design, schedule, and manage first-week orientation, training, introductions, and job-specific onboarding plans.
  • Set up and monitor 30/60/90-day check-ins and track progress against onboarding milestones.
  • Facilitate the handoff from onboarding to the hiring manager and team once the new hire is ready.
  • Maintain onboarding documentation, checklists, workflow diagrams, and tracking dashboards.
  • Collect feedback from new hires and managers and recommend process improvements to reduce bottlenecks.
  • Support compliance, data privacy, remote work, and asset tracking requirements related to onboarding.
  • Build cross-functional relationships and support special onboarding projects such as acquisitions or new business rollouts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field preferred.
  • 2-5 years of HR operational experience or project coordination experience.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and timelines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and onboarding or training workflow tools.
  • Familiarity with remote or hybrid work equipment logistics is a plus.
  • Strong customer-service mindset focused on the new hire experience.
  • Proactive self-starter who can identify issues, escalate when needed, and drive work to completion.
  • Ability to work in a remote/hybrid environment and coordinate across geographic or time zone boundaries.
  • Must be located in one of the listed states: Montana, North Dakota, Kansas, Oklahoma, Iowa, Arkansas, Michigan, Wisconsin, Indiana, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, or Florida.
