Description

  • Develop product requirements for AI-powered People workflows by conducting user research, mapping processes, and identifying high-impact opportunities.
  • Design and build AI tools, including agents, automations, and knowledge retrieval systems, to scale People team support.
  • Structure HR knowledge by translating policies, playbooks, frameworks, and org context into AI-ready formats.
  • Partner with People Data Science and Engineering on data integrations from Workday, the data warehouse, surveys, and internal sources.
  • Define safety and governance guardrails for human escalation, sensitive topics, privacy, and accuracy.
  • Evaluate build-versus-buy tradeoffs and recommend enterprise tools or custom solutions that will work in practice.
  • Own adoption and impact by leading rollout, manager training, feedback loops, and success metrics.
  • Work closely with executive leadership and cross-functional partners to shape direction and priorities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, HR technology, people analytics, digital transformation, or a related field building and shipping tools.
  • Hands-on experience taking ideas from concept to production using AI-assisted tools, coding environments, prototyping tools, or agentic platforms.
  • Strong understanding of HR functions and the employee lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with data flows from HRIS, data warehouses, and surveys into user-facing products.
  • Ability to deliver in ambiguous environments while partnering closely with senior stakeholders.
  • High learning velocity and a habit of experimenting in a fast-moving AI space.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to build trust and community.
  • Experience with Workday or similar HR systems is relevant through the role’s data integration work.
  • Ability to handle sensitive workplace topics with sound judgment and trustworthiness.

  • Competitive salary range of $157,500-$192,500 in SF Bay Area, San Jose, New York City, or Seattle.
  • Competitive salary range of $142,200-$173,800 in Austin, Washington DC, California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, or Washington.
  • Competitive salary range of $134,100-$163,900 in all other U.S. locations.
