Description

Design original computational statistics problems that simulate real mathematical research workflows.
Create Python-based problems using NumPy, SciPy, SymPy, and related libraries.
Develop computationally intensive tasks that cannot be solved manually within a reasonable timeframe.
Build problems that require non-trivial reasoning in areas such as number theory, combinatorics, graph theory, and numerical analysis.
Base problem sets on real research challenges or practical applications in mathematical practice.
Verify solutions using Python and standard mathematical libraries.
Document problem statements clearly and provide verified correct answers.
Complete assigned tasks during active project phases and collaborate through the project-based workflow.

Requirements

Degree in Statistics or a related field.
2+ years of professional experience, including applied, research, or teaching experience.
Python proficiency for numerical validation.
Strong written English at C1 level or above.
Experience with MATLAB, R, C, SQL, NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, domain-specific libraries, Stata, or another programming language may be considered equivalent.
Professional certifications such as CMME, SAS Certifications, or CAP are an advantage.
Experience in international projects or applied projects is an advantage.
Willingness to work part-time on non-permanent, project-based assignments.
Ability to provide a CV in English and indicate English proficiency.

Benefits
