Description

Design original optics problems that simulate real physics research workflows.
Create computationally intensive problems that cannot be solved manually within reasonable timeframes.
Develop problems requiring multi-step reasoning in mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, and quantum mechanics.
Base problem sets on real research challenges or practical applications in optics and physics.
Document problem statements clearly and provide verified correct answers.
Participate in project-based AI tasks during active project phases.
Complete assigned tasks and contribute within estimated weekly project time expectations.

Requirements

Degree in Physics (theoretical, experimental, or computational) or a related field.
2+ years of professional experience, including applied, research, or teaching experience.
Experience with numerical simulation methods.
Ability to design problems that mirror real physics research workflows.
Creative thinking in problem design across diverse physics areas.
Familiarity with physics modeling and approximation techniques.
Strong written English proficiency at C1 level or higher.
Willingness to participate in part-time, non-permanent projects.
