Description

  • Design original optics problems that simulate real physics research workflows.
  • Create computationally intensive problems that cannot be solved manually within reasonable timeframes.
  • Develop problems requiring multi-step reasoning in mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, and quantum mechanics.
  • Base problem sets on real research challenges or practical applications in optics and physics.
  • Document problem statements clearly and provide verified correct answers.
  • Work on project-based tasks during active phases, typically estimated at 10–20 hours per week.
  • Complete qualification steps, join projects, and submit tasks through the platform.
  • Contribute to testing, evaluating, and improving AI systems through physics-focused problem design.

Requirements

  • Degree in Physics (Theoretical, Experimental, or Computational) or a related field.
  • 2+ years of professional experience, including applied, research, or teaching experience.
  • Experience with numerical simulation methods.
  • Ability to design problems that mirror real physics research workflows.
  • Creative thinking in problem design across diverse physics areas.
  • Familiarity with physics modeling and approximation techniques.
  • Strong written English at C1 level or above.
  • Open to part-time, non-permanent project-based work.
  • Ability to submit a CV in English and indicate English proficiency.
  • Experience as an optical engineer is a strong fit for this opportunity.
