Description

  • Define the venture strategy, including the ideal customer profile, pricing model, and product positioning.
  • Lead customer development with CPA firm managing partners, CAS leads, and outsourced accounting/BPO operators.
  • Convert pilot relationships into paid engagements and build a referral-led go-to-market motion.
  • Partner with the product and engineering team to ship the first version of the product and iterate based on user feedback.
  • Lead the seed fundraising process with support from FutureSight's network and traction.
  • Recruit, lead, and retain the founding team.
  • Establish the company's culture and operating foundation.
  • Represent the company in conversations with investors, customers, and strategic partners.

Requirements

  • Previous founding experience at a venture-backed company.
  • Demonstrated success in B2B AI or B2B SaaS go-to-market, including consultative and relationship-driven sales.
  • Fundraising fluency and the ability to develop investor narratives and close capital.
  • Proven ability to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
  • Clear understanding of the risks and demands of co-founding a venture-backed company.
  • Deep accounting domain expertise with hands-on experience in close processes, tax preparation, workpapers, and client accounting services within CPA firms.
  • Experience working with small-to-mid CPA firms or similar accounting operations is highly relevant.
  • Willingness to join as a co-founder rather than a salaried executive.
  • Ability to submit a resume, LinkedIn profile, and a brief founder-fit note as part of the application.
